This pastel yellow variety pepper with a firm, smooth skin and green stem is also known as:

  • “Hunkie” Hot.
It is closely related to the mild banana pepper and averages about 6 inches in length and is about 1.5 inches wide.

Hungarian Wax Pepper is widely used to add flavor to soups and stews.
